Move a working prototype into stable mass production in China by controlling files, validation, tooling, test methods and approved production standards.
A working prototype is evidence that a concept can function; it is not yet proof that a factory can build the same result repeatedly, at cost and at volume.
Why this becomes a sourcing problem
Prototype teams often use hand-fitted parts, temporary wiring, development boards or components that are unavailable in volume. If the handoff skips design-for-manufacturing review and production validation, the first production run becomes an expensive engineering experiment.
