ATX 3.1 Fully Modular Power Supply for OEM Sourcing

Compare wattage, efficiency, 12V-2x6 cables, electrical tests, safety evidence and OEM options for ATX 3.1 PC power supplies.

Unbranded fully modular ATX 3.1 power supply

ATX 3.1 power supplies are a timely refresh opportunity for PC-component brands, gaming retailers and system integrators. Intel's design-guide material includes ATX12V 3.1 and 12V-2x6 considerations, while 2026 supplier catalogs increasingly feature ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 models. This is a standards and replacement-cycle opportunity; it is not evidence that every wattage tier will sell equally well.

Why supplier comparison is difficult

Two units with the same wattage and efficiency badge can use different transformers, capacitors, fans, cables and protection tuning. Require a controlled BOM and approved-alternative list. Confirm whether the certification belongs to the exact model, factory and platform instead of a similar enclosure.
Engineering validation should include output regulation, ripple, efficiency, hold-up behavior, power excursions, protection trips, temperature rise, fan noise and full-load aging. The 12V-2x6 cable and terminals deserve dimensional, insertion, retention and temperature-rise checks under the agreed load.

Price and configuration ladder

  • Entry: 550–650W, fixed or semi-modular cables, Bronze efficiency.
  • Mid-tier: 750–850W, fully modular, Gold efficiency and native 12V-2x6.
  • Premium: 1000–1300W, Gold/Platinum, higher-grade fan/capacitors, monitoring or dual high-power connectors.

OEM and ODM options

OEM work includes housing, grille, cable lengths, cable sleeves, modular interface, packaging and warranty materials. ODM work may cover platform tuning, fan curve, connector board, protection settings and telemetry. Electrical changes require a fresh verification plan and may affect certifications.

Compliance and commercial risks

Request the safety and EMC reports needed for each destination, RoHS evidence, efficiency registration or certification, approved mains cords and model-specific production tests. Do not use an efficiency logo until the model is confirmed in the program database. Clarify warranty failure analysis, replacement stock and who pays international return freight.

RFQ checklist
